ACES connects top level circularity experts, founders of exciting circular businesses, project manager and other staff from various relevant projects, and young people eager to learn more about the topic, strengthen their networks, and build the next successful businesses.

Apart from those, there will also be representatives of various organisations providing funding. Come ask your questions, learn more about their mandates, find project partners among other attendees, and hopefully get your next project idea funded!

Kirkenes Airport (KKN) is connected to several coastal towns in Northern Norway, as well as to Tromsø, Oslo, Ivalo, and Helsinki.

Daily services:
Widerøe – Tromsø (TOS)
SAS – Oslo (OSL)
Norwegian – Oslo (OSL)

Tue, Thu, Sat:
Finnair – Helsinki (HEL) via Ivalo (IVL)

We are also planning to arrange bus transportation from Rovaniemi via Ivalo.

The town of Kirkenes offers a variety of accommodation types suitable to almost any budget.

Looking for a luxury and unique experience? Book Snowhotel Kirkenes and enjoy the top rated ice bed in the Arctic! Expect to pay north of 5000 NOK for 2 nights.

Looking for chain standards in the very heart of the town? Book yourself into Scandic or Thon. Scandic offers a small swimming pool, a basic hotel gym, and a sauna. At Thon, you can see a king crab aquarium in the lobby and possibly enjoy some sea views. Expect to pay 2500 – 5000 NOK for 2 nights.

Are you travelling on budget? Pick Kirkenes Hotel or Barents Hotel. Both are centrally located and will keep you quite low cost, at around 1800 – 2500 NOK for 2 nights.

Are you in a hostel mood? Our friends at Nothing Hill can find you a bed in a private room with shared bathrooms in an old student housing facility on the island of Prestøya. The building is under partial national heritage protection and offers very basic facilities. The cost is 1350 NOK for 2 nights.

There are also few AirBnB facilities available in the town.

Yes, we are preparing a digital participation possibility with limited stage streaming and online networking.

However, you will get much better experience on site in Kirkenes. Events in such remote and unique environment in the very north of Europe bring unique memories and long-lasting connections. Most likely because those who come to attend are truly dedicated to get and give their best.

By being on site, you will also get access to interactive roundtables and networking sessions with other attendees.

Hopefully! In the past, this time of the year has proven to show some nice Northern Lights over the town of Kirkenes. Fingers crossed!
